James and I were originally going to talk, ad nauseam, about content in the recruiting world. 

But with the coronavirus dominating every aspect of professional life right now, we thought it’d be a more interesting conversation to discuss pivots: what we’re changing in our approaches, what we’re seeing that seems to work, and how we’re carrying on ‘business as usual’ in a world that is highly unusual.

James Hornick is a Partner at Hirewell, a Chicago based recruiting firm with a variety of specialty areas (tech, HR, marketing, sales, finance & accounting).

In 2015, after more than a decade of technology recruiting, James started Hirewell’s Digital Experience & Marketing division.

After talking to marketers on a daily basis for several years, he was inspired to take on a new challenge: building out Hirewell’s own digital and content marketing.

He currently hosts the Hirewell Recruiting Insights podcast and takes a very team-focused, video-centric approach to Hirewell’s marketing initiatives.
